Drilling at Kirchweidach is Running at Full Speed

The drilling of the first bore has already been successfully completed down to a final depth of just under 4 kilometres, and with the incredible length of almost 5 kilometres. Pumping tests for the first bore have yielded excellent results! Since last week now the drilling of the second bore has been in progress at Kirchweidach. At this site we have currently already reached a depth of approximately 500 metres. By late summer also this bore is expected to be completed, whereupon circulation tests will follow in order to determine the final capacity of the future power plant.
